Second Saturday Seminars (SSS)

The Epilepsy Foundation of Greater Los Angeles organizes and hosts Second Saturday Seminars, which occur as you would expect on the second Saturday of each month. The seminar provides an added source of quality information with tips and tools that promote overall health and wellbeing of individuals with epilepsy and their caregivers. The seminar is open to anyone with epilepsy as well as caregivers and friends and family members of someone with epilepsy.

In 2011, the Second Saturday Seminars will consist of a series of topics led by Laurette Hayden (Marriage and Family Therapist, Registered Intern). Topics will range from Mindfulness, Depression, Coping Skills, Forgetfulness, Relationships and much more. Beforehand, participants can join the End Epilepsy Group (EEG) meetings, which are conveniently scheduled to take place right before the seminar.
