Individuals and families are invited to join others affected by epilepsy for a fun-filled afternoon in the park! Whether you're an individual with epilepsy, a parent, sibling, friend, or relative, our annual pot-luck style Picnic is all about connecting with others who are also affected by epilepsy. The Epilepsy Foundation of Greater Los Angeles provides the BBQ meat and refreshments, but each participant is requested to bring along picnic food to share with others. The Foundation will lead social icebreakers, while our friends from The Art of Elysium will lead the arts and crafts for the children throughout. The day ends with traditional picnic activities that bring out the inner child in all of us and encourage bonding (i.e. tug-of-war, bobbing for apples, three-legged race, potato-sack race, water balloon toss, and the egg-on-a-spoon race. ) Join us for the fun and build a network of friends! See photos from our 2010 Picnic

Children affected by epilepsy and their families are welcome for our annual Family Holiday Party in December. The event provides a chance for families to socialize and enjoy fun and games together. Santa Claus leads the gift giving for the children.  Our friends from The Art of Elysium lead children and teens in creative activities. Families must RSVP in advance so that toy rewards for activity participation can be prepared. Due to a limited supply of donated toys, we cannot provide prizes/toys for those who register onsite.
